Alison Baxter Giunta, M.S., PA-C - Physician Assistant
Alison is a certified Physician Assistant with a master's
degree from Finch University/Chicago Medical School. She will
assist Dr. Bittar during your consultation and pre-operative
period. She will help to prepare you for surgery by performing
a history and physical exam, prescribing necessary medications
and answering any medical or surgical questions you may have.
Alison assists Dr. Bittar in surgery and will then oversee
your post-operative care during your follow-up visits.
Mariela Cortez, CPC Billing /Coding Specialist
Mariela is our experienced coding and billing specialist with a certification
through the American Academy of Professional Coders. Her duties consist of
pre-certifying medical procedures and to review operative reports to ensure coding
is accurate and compliant. Mariela also handles billing inquiries, it is her goal to
have open communication with our patients and to accommodate and understand their
individual circumstances and needs.
Stephanie Dolan—Business Manager and Surgical Coordinator
Stephanie is available to walk you through the entire process.
She is happy to discuss the financial issues related to your planned
procedure including billing and payment options. She will coordinate all
the scheduling for the procedure and will work to make your surgery day go very smoothly.
Stephanie works closely with Dr. Bittar and can answer any questions you may have
regarding his credentials, hospital affiliations, and teaching positions.
Karen Hankins - Receptionist
Maria is your day to day contact for scheduling office visits
and directing your inquiries to the appropriate office personnel.
Her goal is to coordinate your schedule with that of the practice
and to make your time with our office as smooth and as enjoyable
as possible.
