The MicroPeel® and MicroPeel Plus® are two forms of
chemical peels. The MicroPeel® is a three-step process
that removes a micro-thin top layer of skin. It involves exfoliating
the skin, applying a Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) solution, and
utilizing cryogenic therapy or freezing the skin with carbon
dioxide.
The MicroPeel Plus® is a uniquely formulated product
containing salicylic acid and the patented MICROSPONGE®
technology. While the MicroPeel use Alpha HydroxyAcids, the
MicroPeel Plus® uses Beta HydroxyAcids. These acids assist
in sloughing off cellular debris while stimulating the skin’s
natural processes to promote cell turnover and growth.
